What he offers
How he presents
Tim is a popular and amicable speaker with a relaxed yet confident presenting style. He uses a great mix of anecdotes and humorous stories to entertain, inspire, and motivate audiences around the world.
Few Olympians have made the transition from athlete to coach as smoothly as Tim Foster. After achieving his goal of winning a gold medal as part of the never to be forgotten Coxless Four at the Sydney Olympics in 2000, Tim retired from international rowing. He transferred straight into coaching with the GB team before joining the UK Sport-sponsored Elite Coach Programme in 2004. In 2007, he became the Head Coach of the Swiss National Rowing Team, who he coaches to World and European Championships, ultimately aiming for the London Olympics 2012.
During his rowing career, Tim Foster won a total of 9 World Championship and 2 Olympic medals – only twice in 14 years failing to medal. He has coached World and Olympic Champions and has just successfully coached the Swiss national team to their most successful results for 16 years.

“I am truly overwhelmed with what a perfect fit Tim was for our company and event. He was such amiable, he stayed for ages, spoke, had photos. I much as I enjoyed Tim on stage, I was equally as impressed with the employees, they were so passionate and truly inspired and honoured to be spoken to by Tim. They went absolutely crazy watching the race, as if it were being streamed live into the event. They banged tables, cheered and shouted and Tim let them [I think he might have liked it :)]. It was such a great atmosphere. Then they listened intently to Tim as he shared stories and then again, went bonkers for him when he finished, they were genuinely delighted with him, a standing ovation was indeed in order.”
“Tim was absolutely superb. He enthralled and entranced the audience and the feedback has been fabulous.”
