A charismatic and affable personality, Can Dündar speaks emotionally and openly in his moving presentations. He is also a fantastic storyteller, leaving audiences well and truly inspired and entertained.

He was born in Ankara, June 16, 1961. He studied journalism at Ankara University, Faculty of Political Science and graduated in 1982. He continued his education in London School of Journalism in 1986. Can Dündar received his master’s degree in 1988 and in 1996 earned his Ph.D. in political science from Middle East Technical University, Ankara. He is one of the best known figures in Turkish media, described as possessing “impeccable republican credentials”. He has produced many television programs for the Turkish Radio and Television Corporation (TRT) and various private channels such as CNN Türk and NTV, and published over 20 books. He has written a column for Milliyet until he has been asked to leave on 1-8-2013. Now, he is chief editor of Cumhuriyet newspaper and continues to write his columns, books and to produce the documentaires.
