Bronwen Maddox is the Editor and Chief Executive of Prospect Magazine, the UK’s leading current affairs and culture monthly title. Renowned for her incisive analysis of politics, economics and finance, she has interviewed some of the world’s most controversial leaders. The Kremlin picked her to be the sole British journalist interviewing then President Vladimir Putin ahead of the controversial G8 summit. She has also interviewed Tony Blair, George W. Bush, Angela Merkel, Benazir Bhutto at her home in Karachi shortly before her assassination and Henry Kissinger at his home in 2015.
Bronwen was a Director at Kleinwort Benson Securities for five years and head of its highly-rated media analyst team. She was previously Chief Foreign Commentator and Foreign Editor of The Times between 1999 and 2010. From 1996 to 1999, she was The Times’ US Editor and Washington Bureau Chief. She was previously an award-winning reporter and economics editorial writer at the Financial Times.
